_Captains - please forward the message below from Jordan to your college
boat clubs._

Apologies if you've already received this message once; there appears to
have been an issue with the CUCBC mailing lists so I'm re-sending it to
make sure everyone's received it.

---------------

Dear all,

I hope you're all well and have been able to keep up some good training
over the most recent lockdown.

Katy Knowles (Women's Assistant Coach) and I are running the CUBC
development squad this year, encompassing _lightweight and openweight,_
_women and men_. We are planning an open Zoom call for the 24th of
February, at 7pm, to hopefully attract some interested people and
provide
some information about how the development squad will run this year.

Could you all please pass this email around to your respective college
squads and encourage all students you think may have the potential and
ambition to trial for CUBC crews next season to join in the zoom call on
the 24th. They will need to fill out this google form
<https://forms.gle/nMf6LcHdBv2Vmwui6> with their details and we will
circulate the zoom link closer to the date.

Attending the zoom call is not a commitment to joining the squad so
those
who are unsure about whether they can commit to, or would like to be a
part
of, the dev squad should still attend. Similarly, attending the zoom
call
will not guarantee someone a place in the dev squad.

We understand it has been an incredibly difficult year and most colleges
will have done little rowing, hence the open nature of the zoom call. We
hope we can engage with as many people as possible and your support in
this
is critical and greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out.

Many thanks,

Jordan
