Proposed Rule and Constitution changes - Wording around University Club(s)

As many of you will be aware, CUWBC, CULRC and CUCBC have now merged into a
single 'Cambridge University Boat Club'.
We need to update some phrases in our constitution and rule-book to reflect
this merger. The proposed changes detailed below are intended to be purely
cosmetic (mostly replacing 'CUBC, CUWBC and the CULRC' with
'the University Boat Club') and so should (I hope) be able to be agreed
with a single vote (i.e. not clause-by-clause). The proposed changes to the
Constitution have already been approved by the Senior Committee prior to
being put to a vote of Captains, as required by Section 19 of our
Constitution here <https://www.cucbc.org/handbook/constitution#19>.

CUCBC constitution <https://www.cucbc.org/handbook/constitution>:

Secretaries of the University Boat Club.

Change 5.c. (That the officers of CUCBC shall be:) from

CULRC. This would currently be the Honorary Secretary of each of these
clubs but this could be changed by a duly convened meeting of the
individual clubs.

To

Honorary Secretary, the Coxswains' Representative and the Honorary
Secretaries of CUBC, CUWBC and CULRC. This Committee shall have
responsibility for organising College rowing on the Cam and shall be led
by the Honorary Secretary who is responsible for the day-to-day
administration of the committee, College rowing on the River Cam and the
organisation of races by the CUCBC.

weeks of each term to which all members shall be invited. The meeting at
the beginning of the Michaelmas term shall be an Annual General Meeting

crew concerned is the Club's second or third crew.

Proposed rule change - Extending the range of tubs in the first 4 weeks of
Michaelmas

The King's Women's Captain is proposing a change to Rule 13 of the rules of
the river <https://www.cucbc.org/handbook/rules/restrictions#13>, to
account for the increased use of tubs this year and to try and reduce
instances of tubs spinning in places where bigger boats do not expect them
to be doing so.

From
That no tub pairs be allowed below Chesterton footbridge except for a race
recognised by the CUCBC.

To
That no tub pairs be allowed below Chesterton footbridge except for a race
recognised by the CUCBC, *or in the first four weeks of Michaelmas term,
where pairs may be allowed as far as the P&E spinning zone*.

If anyone has any questions or concerns about either of the proposals
detailed above, feel free to let me know. If you copy committee at cucbc.org into
your email you may get a faster or more informative response.
