[CUCBC Captains] Fairbairn Cup - Start Order and Information

Dear all (Entry form contacts and CUCBC captains),

There is now one week until the Fairbairn Cup 2019!

I attach the second draft of the provisional Start Order (also updated 
on the website). I have made any adjustments requested (as of this 
morning), where I judged them to be reasonable. Please again check 
carefully that all your crews are included, and that any adjustments 
necessary for availability/boat sharing have been made.

If you have any further requests for adjustments, please make them using 
the adjustment form (https://forms.gle/81bWBL73cjd429Py9) by the end of 
Saturday 30th November. Please use the race numbers from this draft of 
the start order when making new requests. The final start order will be 
released on Sunday 1st December, and after this point only urgent 
changes will be made.

A reminder that there is no overtaking before Chesterton footbridge 
(rule 13a), with penalty of disqualification. If you believe that your 
crew will catch the one in front before Chesterton footbridge (with a 
standard 30 second starting interval), then please ensure you fill in 
the adjustment request form.

As detailed on the website, boats 1-10 in each division must marshal 30 
minutes before the division start time, while the rest must marshal 20 
minutes beforehand.

The payment and scratching deadline (for full reimbursement) is tomorrow 
(Friday 29th November). A number of clubs have still not paid - please 
ensure you pay by this date if you still wish to race.

Finally, morning outings and pre-paddles are permitted before the races 
(Thursday 5th and Friday 6th December). However, the river will be 
closed from 8.30 am to allow crews time to marshal before the start of 
the morning divisions. Please ensure your crews are back in good time.
