However, I'm trying to get a rough idea of numbers for the talk next Monday (6th) on coxing the Tideway Racing line. If you have any time at all in the next couple of days, could you drop me a quick message with simply the number of coxes you think will probably attend from your club? Ro would like to do some printing to hand out maps and details of some aspects of the line, and would like to make sure she has enough. Many thanks, and good luck for the next four days, Robert PS Yes, even a message where the entire text is one copy of the number 2 would be useful (or some other number, if that's how many you expect to send)! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... It is a fantastic opportunity for your lower crews, particularly those that didn't get a chance to do bumps, to get in some good racing before the end of term. Jarman" To: captains at lists.cucbc.org, contacts at lists.cucbc.org Dear all, Entries for The Talbott Cup, First & Third's Lent Term Lower Boats Regatta, are now open. The Talbott Cup was created three years ago to provide increased racing opportunity for lower boats which are often disadvantaged by the Pembroke Regatta categorization system and the lower number of bumps divisions in Lents. After the success of last year's event, the race will be run on Tuesday 14th March, from 2pm. Entries are open to boats no higher than M3s/W2s, although exceptional entries (M2s of predominately ex-novices) may be permitted on a case-by-case basis. The regatta is, however, intended for lower boats' rowers and as such we ask that no rower enter who has competed in any Bumps in an M1, M2 or W1. The race will be run in a similar style to Pembroke Regatta with divisions for W2, M3, W3 and M4. Tankards will be awarded to crews winning any event with at least 4 entries. Entries can be made by the link below, the deadline is Saturday 11th March: https://goo.gl/forms/953FmWu4nhySvRt13 The rules of the regatta are also accessible at this link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/19UHekwYaDE9QVjoxf5uWCs0fFeRj-TRZ2gwS8X76CTc/edit?usp=sharing If you have any questions, please let me know (talbottcup at firstandthird.org). -- Ben Jarman Secretary 2016-2017 First and Third Trinity Boat Club Trinity College secretary at firstandthird.org Proudly Sponsored by Cantab Capital Partners LLP www.cantabcapital.com From secretary at firstandthird.org Mon Mar 6 21:37:21 2017 From: secretary at firstandthird.org (secretary at firstandthird.org) Date: Mon, 06 Mar 2017 21:37:21 +0000 Subject: [CUCBC Captains] Reminder: Second Trinity Challenge Sculls 2017 Message-ID: Dear all, A reminder that the entries for STCS 2017 will close this Saturday, March 11th. We have used the shell as a training boat for novices for the last 10-12 years, she's completely watertight and fully maintained by our boatman. Concept2 style footplates have been especially useful for training as the faff of changing shoes all the time doesn't arise. Complete with seats, and riggers. Please get in contact if interested to discuss prices. magdalene.captain at cucbc.org wsr23 at cam.ac.uk Cheers, Will Reis Captain of Boats, MBC -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
