The CUCBC rules *are still in force outside term time*. Specifically: - College crews *MAY NOT* be on the water prior to lighting down, or after lighting up - Crews *must have* white lights at the bow and stern which are clearly visible in the 15 minutes after lighting up and prior to lighting down - All of the rules on rights of way and spinning still apply This will be your final warning. Anyone breaking these rules will be fined in the first instance and receive training bans for any repeat offences after that. CUCBC committee members are regularly out in the mornings with town clubs, and many of the other members of the town clubs are also familiar with the CUCBC rules and are more than happy to let us know when they see college clubs breaking them. Fellows) Date: Fri, 22 Dec 2017 10:27:02 +0000 Subject: [CUCBC Captains] Cambridge Rowing Tank - LIVE BOOKINGS Message-ID: Dear all, Cambridge Rowing Tank are excited to announce that the website is LIVE! Please find us at www.cambridgerowingtank.co.uk. We are now taking bookings, the first session is on Monday 15th January 2018, at 7:30am. We have a limited number of FREE Cambridge Rowing Tank water bottles for the first crews to use this incredible new facility. Also, every club is eligible for one free session! BOOKING PROCESS On the home page for our website you will find a ?BOOK HERE? link, this will take you to our booking platform. At this point you will be asked to log in, you can either do this using a Google Account or you can quickly create an account which will then need to be verified via a verification email. This login process is merely a way to confirm your identity. You will then have access to the booking schedule where you can select which session(s) you want to book. Once the session(s) are selected you will then be taken to checkout. Upon making your first booking you will be asked to complete several fields of information during the payment process. However, upon subsequent bookings this information will autofill, as it is linked with your account. As mentioned above, every club is eligible for one free session. To redeem your voucher code, contact us via the website! Lastly, as per our T&Cs, it is essential that every crew using the tank has AT LEAST 1 person present who has gone through the induction process. Clubs are welcome to send as many members for induction sessions as they want, these persons will be deemed the ?Responsible Persons?. We recommend that each club sends their coach and captains as a minimum. We will be running 8 induction sessions (15 spaces on each) from the 9th-12th January. Please sign up to one of the sessions using the following link - https://doodle.com/poll/d2rx6cy2wwts5cmt. A record of attendance will be kept. Any subsequent induction sessions required following this initial induction week will need be to be organised on an individual basis. Even if you don?t intend booking a tank session immediately, we recommend that every club sends some of its members for induction during this induction week anyway. Subsequent inductions may be more difficult to arrange on an individual basis. If there are not enough spaces available during this week then please let us know via the website and we will endeavor to arrange more sessions. Please bear in mind that this system is brand new and if you experience any difficulties then please let us know using the ?Contact Us? page at www.cambridgerowingtank.co.uk. Any feedback is much appreciated. I hope you?re as excited as we are! -- Alex Fellows Captain of Boats Downing College Boat Club apf36 at cam.ac.uk 07446974685
