[CUCBC Captains] SBR 2017 Prize Giving

Dear Captains, all competitors and marshals CCed,

Congratulations to the winners of the Small Boats Regatta 2017. All results can be found on the CUCBC website <http://www.cucbc.org/sbr>. The Prize Giving will take place on Sunday 30th April at 6pm in the King’s College bar, after the Captains’ Meeting (reminder; 5pm in the Audit Room in King’s College). If you are unable to attend your medals will be distributed by other means.

I would also like to personally thank all of the marshals you provided, without whom we would have been unable to run the event safely and successfully. A special thanks to Jake and Michael for helping Charlie and I out when we were unable to be on the river. 

If anyone has any comments or suggestions on ways to improve the running of SBR, please reply to this email (keeping the Committee CCed). We already know we need to be better at confirming payments earlier, and thus producing the draw, race timetable and marshalling allocation with much more notice.
