Dear all,

A case of Weil's disease has been reported in a junior town club sculler
who capsized by the fort St George two weeks ago.

Please note that Weil's disease can be fatal (e.g. Olympian Andy Holmes)
and that you should treat this incidence on the Cam seriously.

Water bottles should not get in contact with Cam water (e.g. wrapped in a
polythene bag before being carried in the boat) and disinfectant/soap
should be used to rub into your hands before leaving your boathouse.
