[CUCBC Captains] Events on River Cam navigation this weekend, 12/13 January 2013

Dear river users

 

Please be aware of the following activities affecting the Cam navigation
this weekend:

 

Saturday 12th January

 

The owner of narrowboat 'Suzie Q' has requested access to the head of
navigation at the Mill Pit along the College Backs. Please keep a lookout
for this vessel and ensure that the bridge arches are free from obstruction.

 

Sunday 13th January

 

The CRA Winter League will take place 08:30 hr to 15:00 hr between Baits
Bite Lock and Chesterton footbridge (organisers X-Press BC). There will be
four divisions, indicated to set off at 09:00 hr, 10:40 hr, 12:20 hr and
14:00 hr. For further information see

are asked to make contact with the race marshals before proceeding onto the
course for safety reasons. 

 

Bank parties are reminded that The Halingway towpath is a public right of
way. Cyclists must give priority to pedestrians at all times.
