Dear all,
Further to the details I metioned at yesterday's meeting, the Eastern
Region Rowing Council are offerring the following financial support:
- up to £150 for coaches taking their Level 2 (current cost £299);
- up to £60 for coaches taking the new Rowing Leaders course (current
cost £120).
The following conditions have been imposed:
a Candidates must live permanently within the Eastern Region and
either be already coaching or available to regularly coach at a club
in the Eastern Region.
b Candidates must be a member of a British Rowing.
c Candidates must be a member of a British Rowing registered club
in the Eastern Region.
d No more than 2 candidates at any level from any club in a 12 month period.
e The Level 2 or Rowing Leaders course may be any such British
Rowing course, not necessarily in the Eastern Region.
I am very pleased to note that we have recently had five coaches
complete L2 courses. The Rowing Leaders course will be launched in the
region shortly and I will send more details when available.
Forthcoming L2 courses are:
Norwich: March-April
Bedford: April-May
Cambridge: August
Peterborough: Sept-Oct
Details of the course dates are the BR website at
http://www.britishrowing.org/education-training/calendar and I have
the application form for the regional funding that I would be happy to
pass on to anyone who is interested.
With best wishes,
Holly
