[CUCBC Captains] Environment Agency annual fisheries survey of the River Cam - 2 & 6 September 2013 inclusive

To all river users,

 

Please be advised that the Environment Agency's Fisheries Team is intending
to continue with its fish population survey of the River Cam as follows:

 

Monday 2nd September - Clayhithe Bridge (upstream of the road bridge) -
approx. 8am to 12noon

Friday 6th September - Dimmocks Cote (downstream of A1123 road bridge) -
approx. 8am to 12noon

 

To collect their sample, seine nets will be stretched across the river from
bank to bank and there will be personnel in the water. Navigators are asked
to proceed with caution and observe instructions given by the personnel in
attendance. There are likely to be short delays to navigation. The Agency
and Conservators apologise for any inconvenience caused.
