[CUCBC Captains] Environment Agency annual fisheries survey of the River Cam - 28-30 August 2013 inclusive

To all river users,

 

Please be advised that the Environment Agency's Fisheries Team is intending
to conduct a fish population survey of the River Cam between the hours of
8am and 12 noon at the following locations on these dates:

 

Wednesday 28 August - Midsummer Common (rescheduled following cancellation
of survey arranged for 22 August 2013)

Thursday 29 August - Fen Ditton

Friday 30 August - A14 road bridge/Baits Bite

 

To collect their sample, seine nets will be stretched across the river from
bank to bank and there will be personnel in the water. Navigators are asked
to proceed with caution and observe instructions given by the personnel in
attendance. There are likely to be short delays to navigation. The Agency
and Conservators apologise for any inconvenience caused.
