To all river users,



Please be advised that tomorrow, Thursday 27th September, there will
be a National Fishing Competition taking place on the River Cam
between Chesterton and Clayhithe Bridge, 08:30 hr to 16:00 hr.



Navigators are kindly requested to avoid disturbing the competitors
during this Competition by keeping speed to a minimum and keeping a
lookout for rods with lines and/or poles. Competitors will be
stationed along the towpath on the left bank of the River Cam (if
facing downstream).



Overflow parking will be provided at Baits Bite Lock. Towpath users
are warned to be vigilant to motor vehicles using the towpath between
Fen Road, Milton, and the Lock. Competitors are anticipated to arrive
around 08:00 hr and they will leave approximately 17:00 hr.
