Thanks for your co-operation and patience today with the emergency stops and
rerows in the first two divisions. We just about managed to finish on time
though!

Notes from the Umpires

·         There have been too many crews colliding with stationary boats
parked on Gassy Corner. This is dangerous and unacceptable. Any crews
colliding with stationary boats for the rest of the week will face removal
from the River.

·         Could the sandwich boats please spin before they pull in at
Peter’s Posts.

·         All (men’s) divisions on Saturday will marshal 10 minutes before
the start of the division, spun on station. Crews must not proceed beyond
Chesterton Foobridge more than 30 minutes before the start of their
division.

 

Fines

Fines can be appealed by e-mailing Chris Balmer, CUCBC Senior Treasurer
(seniortreasurer at cucbc.org) within 48 hours of this e-mail being sent.

·         Corpus Christi M2 – Dropped bung (no advantage) - £15

·         Hughes Hall W1 – Dropped bung (no advantage) - £15

·         King’s M1 – Foul and abusive language - £20

·         LMBC M4  – Extremely dangerous coxing (rowed into stationary crew)
- £50

·         LMBC W4  – Dangerous coxing (rowed into stationary crew) - 350

·         Pemboke M3 – Failure to clear - £25

·         Queens’ M3 – Failure to easy after bumped - £30

·         Queens’ M4 – Extremely dangerous coxing (rowed into stationary
crew) - £40

·         Trinity Hall M1 – Excessive bank party (2nd offence) - £30

·         Trinity Hall W1 – Failure to acknowledge - £20

·         Trinity Hall W2 – Failure to clear (ignoring umpires, bank party
and boatman) after being sarcastic to umpire during pre-race briefing - £30

·         Girton – Failure to provide marshal - £15

·         Hughes Hall – Failure to provide marshal - £15

·         Jesus – Failure to provide marshal - £15
