Navigators are kindly asked to observe the race marshals' instructions and heed their warnings to wait for an appropriate time slot before proceeding upstream or downstream during this approved rowing event. The Environment Agency has also advised us that heavy rainfall is expected to affect Cambridge between 00:00 hr and 07:00 hr tomorrow, Friday 6 July. River flows may therefore be above normal and navigators should assess conditions before setting out. We would like those student/athletes from your college that are considering trialling for selection in one of the 2013 crews to get in contact with the coaching team ASAP. We are aware that some student/athletes were unable to attend the meeting at the end of the May term and as such would like to provide all relevant information, dates and training guides to those athletes considering trialling.
