[CUCBC Captains] Newnham Shortcourse

Dear all,

One year later and I find myself writing almost exactly the same email as I 
did on the eve of Newnham Shortcourse 2011. I'm not certain I've ever had a 
less pleasant experience of déjà vu!

Yet again, the weather is threatening the smooth running of NCBC's annual 
event. At least ice is somewhat less discriminatory than wind in terms of 
who it allows to boat.

I have decided to push all divisions half an hour later, to maximise the 
amount of sun on the river before we begin. The updated draw is attached to 
this email and will appear on the website shortly. Please take note that 
all row-throughs will now also be half an hour later (assuming the river is 
open).

We shall not be cancelling any divisions this evening, so please continue 
to check your emails and the CUCBC messageboards for updates. When taking 
information from the messageboards, please only accept posts from the 
Newnham Shortcourse account as genuine. I imagine we shall make the 
decision about the division 1 between 10 and 10:30 tomorrow morning.
