Dear Boat Club captains and other rowing personages,
The most eagerly awaited race of the year is nearly upon us. Yes, this
year's Cats Cardinals is now open for race entries! With everyone
getting some good warm up races under their belts in Lent Bumps, we
expect this year to be bigger than ever.
On Thursday 17th of March, 2011, mixed IV and VIII crews are invited to
take part in a knockout race on the 500m of the reach. High tension,
bribery and even fancy dress combine to make Cats Cardinals an
unmissable event in your rowing calendar. Entry fees are frankly rather
reasonable, at £16 for a IV and £23 for a VIII. Crews can be from any
collection of colleges, town clubs and societies - as long as you have
noviced, you can race! Prizes for the fastest boats and for the boats
with the best fancy dress will be awarded in Cats bar the evening of the
event. Prizes include swaps with Cats M1 and W1 next term, with Chris
Kerr's presence (or absence) available upon request.
Entry forms and rules of racing can be found here:

Otherwise you can contact the race secretaries: Sarah Martin
(sm754 at cam.ac.uk) and Will Hayes (wth23 at cam.ac.uk).
