[CUCBC Captains] Conditions at Fairbairns

Dear all
            A strong reminder to all crews going out this week and over the
weekend that the stream is much stronger than usual and that crews and
coaches should ensure that they spin well away from the weir. Given the
incident last year with a sculler was drawn through the lock gates and one
of the college crews being caught on the safety buoys yesterday I  can not
emphasis enough the need to keep well away and not to sit before or after
spinning in this stretch of the river.
