College captains are reminded of their requirement, under Rule 34, to provide Early Morning Marshals in the Michaelmas and Lent Terms.

Marshals are to be provided as per the rota, available at http://www.cucbc.org/marshals

Each weekday morning there will be two marshals who should be *in position* at lighting down and remain in place until 08:30.

• Marshal 1 covers the area between Riverside and Chesterton, particularly the area next to the gate leading from Riverside to the Common, and on to Chesterton footbridge.
• Marshal 2 covers the area along the boathouses up to Riverside, then to move to the area Pike and Eel and the Railway Bridge (on the towpath side of the river) between 07:45 and 08:00 (once everyone has boated).

Marshals should have read the instructions at http://www.cucbc.org/marshals/instructions and on arrival should collect a bib and clipboard (with instruction and reporting sheets) from the pigeon holes behind Goldie Boathouse.

Clubs failing to provide marshals as required will be penalised.
