[CUCBC Captains] Rowing in Darkness

Just a reminder that with the clocks going back to GMT tonight, it will be getting dark around 5pm from tomorrow (and getting progressively earlier as we head towards the solstice).

Lighting times can be found on the CUCBC website - http://www.cucbc.org

If you are out within 15 minutes after lighting down or before lighting up, you will need a *white* light attached to both the bow and stern of your boat. Note that a red light is not a white light (it may seem obvious, but Cambridge students have been known to make this mistake in the past).

Lights are required for safety as it is starting to get dark at these times and your boat needs to be visible to others on the river.

No college crew may be on the water before lighting down or after lighting up.

Cheers
Dan
