 Dear Ian,

Last year you kindly sent out an e-mail to the college captains concerning
the St Radegund Mile race, which will be held this year on 19th April. It
would be much appreciated if you could do the same this year, as once again
we will be offering prizes for college boats. Quite a few colleges entered
and enjoyed the event last year.

*St Radegund Mile Head Race*

*Sunday 19th April 2009*

*Divisions at 10:30, 11:45 and 13:00*



Dear Boat Club Captain,



The St Radegund Mile Head Race will be held this year on 19th April, and it
offers a great way to test your crews against the best in city and college
rowing. We hope you will be able to take part.



The format will be the same as last year:



•           One mile course upstream from the Plough.

•           A free pint at City Boathouse after the race

•           *Awards for the best college men’s and women’s VIIIs*, with
awards also for best college lower crews if there are sufficient entries

•           A prize for the crew that most accurately predicts its time

•           Bar and barbeque
