[CUCBC Captains] Fwd: Rowers urinating in public again

See the message from the River Manager about a complaint received from a
resident yesterday. A complaint to the Police would result in offenders
being given an on the spot fine (£80, I think).

This is NOT acceptable behaviour. It is an offence and also brings the
University and the Rowing Community into disrepute.
DON'T DO IT! Further complaints may lead to the Chief Umpire using his
discretion to introduce an £80 fine for crews/crewmembers involved.

 Dear All

Received from a Chesterton resident yesterday:

‘Today, Tuesday 24th rowers were urinating on Stourbridge Common in full
view of walkers, joggers and dog walkers. Can you please remind them that
this is not acceptable in public. During Bumps week can portaloos be placed
on the common?’

I trust that a message can be circulated to all Bumps competitors reminding
them that they are committing an offence?

Many thanks,

Pip
