[CUCBC Captains] Colquhoun Silver Sculls

Dear All,

"A pair of silver sculls having been presented to the Lady Margaret
Boat Club by James Colquhoun, formerly of St. John's College,
Cambridge, for the purposes of establishing a sculling match, to be
rowed annually."

Started in 1836, The Colquhoun Sculls in the premier men's single
sculling event in Cambridge. This year the event will again be held
during the CUCBC small boats regatta, and the winner be presented with
a CUCBC Bronze medal and the choice to hold the sculls until the First
of November following the race (at which point they must be returned
to the current LMBC Captain).

Races will take place on the 22nd April, (marshalling will commence at
1pm) and will run in a two boat knock-out format, racing from the
Little Bridge to 78 yds upstream of the the Railway bridge, similar to
uni IVs.

To enter, please email tp272 at cam.ac.uk with your name and college.
Entries will be allowed until Friday 18th April, the cost of entry is
£8. I will contact entrants regarding race details and payments at a
later date.
