Dear all,

I would be grateful if this could be circulated to your Boat Club list.

Elections for the post of Cambridge University Women's Boat Club Hon.

the Captains' Room at Goldie Boat House.

The CUWBC Hon Sec represents women's rowing in the University, and is part
of both the CUCBC and CUWBC junior committees. As part of the CUCBC junior
committee, the Hon Sec works with the rest of the committee to support and
regulate the way in which training and racing takes place for the colleges
of the University. In addition, the Hon Sec is part of the CUWBC committee
which takes care of the administrative side of the University squad's
preparation for the Henley Boat Races.

All College Women's Boat Club Captains and those who have rowed in a women's
Boat Race crew or have been a named spare who are still in residence and in
statu pupillare are entitled to vote, so are invited to attend the Club
Meeting on Monday 21st April. The names and manifestos of candidates will be
circulated on Saturday 19th April. If you wish to vote by proxy, you need to
email me with your vote by 5pm on Monday 21st.

Anyone who is a member of a Women's Boat Club within Cambridge University
may run for the position. In order to run for the position you need to
1. be nominated and seconded by those who can vote for you - this means
anyone who has been in a Boat Race crew or has been a named spare who is
still in statu pupillare, and all Women's Boat Club Captains
2. email me a short manifesto to be circulated, explaining why you should be
elected to the position.

This needs to be done by 7.30 pm on Friday 18th April.

If there are any questions about either the elections or the role of the
Hon. Secretary please get in touch; I look forward to hearing from you!
